Vision des potentiels d’un « soi » à venir. alors que nous maintenions près de nos bouches diamantées… est un de ces potentiels, créé de toute pièce à partir d’identités raboutées, subverties, réinventées. Une partition graphique est interprétée par un.e musicien.ne jouant du bawu chinois, mais dans un contexte qui n’a que très peu à voir avec la culture traditionnelle de ce pays. En tout respect de cet héritage, évidemment, mais sans s’y référer. En éprouvant ce qu’il restera d’humanité et d’intimité une fois ce potentiel assumé, ce déguisement transformé en habit d’une tradition à naître.
Identity. Ways of thinking. Of perceiving the world. Perception of the “given” idea of oneself. A graphical score is performed by a musician playing Chinese bawu flute, but in a context that has nothing to do with that country’s traditional culture. With all due respect to that inheritance, but without referring to it. While testing and feeling what will be left of humanity and intimacy once that potential is accepted, once that disguise is metamorphosed in a traditional costume of a tradition yet to be given birth to.
